Pre-inspection report against the applicable OCIMF regime

This is the rehearsal, not the inspection. We run the applicable OCIMF question set — OVID for offshore vessels, SIRE 2.0 for tankers — ahead of the official inspection, so the observations are raised in our report while there is still time to close them, rather than in the record the charterer reads.

In scope

  • Pre-inspection against the applicable OCIMF question set.
  • Review of the vessel's OVID or SIRE record and of the observations still open.
  • Verification of the crew competence and process elements assessed under SIRE 2.0.
  • Observations recorded against the question, with severity and period for action.

Not in scope

  • Any representation to OCIMF, to the submitting company or to the charterer.
  • Rectification of the observations found.
  • Any guarantee of an inspection outcome.

Declared so the conversation happens before the campaign, not in the middle of it.

What drives the effort

These move the size of the campaign. None of them moves the standard it is measured against.

These drive effort, not price. Pricing is quoted after the specification call, together with the documents we will need from you.
