Primary output
Monthly status pack and standing technical availability

The only retained scope in this catalogue. Everything else is a campaign with a start and an end; this one sustains the function in the months between — when findings age, trial windows creep, events get logged and nothing gets read.

In scope

  • Tracking of open findings across the fleet, by category and by deadline, with the ones about to breach flagged before they do.
  • Control of trial windows and certificate expiry across every vessel under contract.
  • Monthly review of DP indicators — events, familiarisation, training and drill execution.
  • First-pass triage of DP events as they are reported, including the classification call that decides whether an external investigation is required.
  • Standing technical availability for the questions that do not justify a project: a configuration change, an alarm nobody can explain, a charterer's query.
  • Preparation for the charterer's periodic assurance audit, run as a rehearsal against the regime's own items.
  • Quarterly written status of where the organisation stands against each item of that regime.

Not in scope

  • Holding the Company DP Authority role itself. That function is named in your contract and answers to your management — it cannot be outsourced, and any provider who offers to hold it is selling you a finding.
  • Deciding to start, continue or stop an operation. That decision belongs to the vessel and to the operator, always.
  • Attendance on board, trials execution or document production. Those are separate scopes, quoted separately.
  • Legal or contractual advice on charter party obligations.

Declared so the conversation happens before the campaign, not in the middle of it.

Deliverables

What you receive

  1. Monthly status pack: open findings, trial windows, certificate expiry, indicator movement.
  2. Event triage note for each event reported, with the classification and the recommendation.
  3. Quarterly position against the charterer's assurance regime, item by item.
  4. Annual summary for management, showing what moved and what did not.
Scoping

What drives the effort

These move the size of the campaign. None of them moves the standard it is measured against.

These drive effort, not price. Pricing is quoted after the specification call, together with the documents we will need from you.

Independence. Retained support does not make us your auditor. Where this scope is running, we will say so before quoting any audit or verification of the same fleet, and the client decides which role we hold.
