The periodic verification at which the five-year cycle closes. The programme is complete — there is no rolling regime here — and it includes the full-load tests of generators and thrusters that the annual programme defers.

In scope

The complete test programme, with every item executed in this campaign rather than carried on the rolling matrix.
Full-load testing of generators and thrusters.
Closure of the five-year rolling matrix, with the coverage evidenced item by item.
Feedback into the FMEA as the principal output of the campaign.

Not in scope

Exploratory testing of failure modes outside the FMEA. That is a proving trial.
Destructive testing.
